SewperCoat® Manhole Rehabilitation – Charlotte County, Florida

Maxx Environmental completed a manhole rehabilitation project in Charlotte County, Florida using SewperCoat® to restore a severely deteriorated structure exposed to hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) corrosion and failed epoxy coating.

Where the existing epoxy coating failed, the underlying cementitious material was exposed to concentrated hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) attack. The structure had no functioning bench or bottom leaving an exposed dirt floor and requiring substantial reconstruction.

SewperCoat® was applied at approximately 2-3 inches throughout the manhole. New benching and inverts were constructed to restore the interior addressing the deteriorated areas and eliminating the need for complete structure replacement.
