Large Diameter RCP Repair

Maxx Environmental provides rehabilitation and concrete repair for large-diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and related stormwater and wastewater structures throughout Florida.

Large concrete pipe can deteriorate from infiltration, joint failure, corrosion, abrasion, cracking, and long-term exposure to aggressive flow conditions.

Common RCP Problems We Repair

  • Cracks and structural deterioration
  • Joint leakage and infiltration
  • Spalling and exposed aggregate
  • Concrete loss and surface erosion
  • Deterioration around pipe connections
  • Failed previous repairs or coatings
  • Corrosion and abrasion damage
  • Localized areas of weakened concrete

RCP Rehabilitation

Depending on the condition of the pipe, rehabilitation may include removing unsound concrete, sealing active infiltration, repairing joints and damaged areas, rebuilding deteriorated surfaces, and preparing the structure for the specified protective system.

The goal is to restore the concrete substrate and extend the service life of the existing pipe without unnecessary replacement.
