A 6-inch force main entering this Key Largo wastewater manhole contributed to elevated hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) exposure, causing significant deterioration of the interior concrete. Maxx Environmental rehabilitated the damaged structure using SewperCoat® calcium aluminate material to restore the interior and provide corrosion resistance.

The completed rehabilitation provides a durable protective surface designed to withstand the harsh conditions found in sanitary sewer systems, helping extend the service life of the existing manhole without full replacement.
